Reach For the Sky and Do it NOW

Why You Have Come Here

If you have arrived here seeking sanctity or blessing, then you will have to provide your own cloak and dagger. I only confess to the daily struggle to treat the world with the respect it has earned in my estimation. We all look to the sky and wonder. I feel the whisper of the ages calling and know not what flutter or ripple calls true. My approach is to touch your life in only the manner in which you prefer. As we all must suffer at some time, then I feel we all deserve, also, the right to laugh. My smile is my weapon, and at times my words also I use to defend.

Bentonville Weekend

Well, this past weekend, we traveled to Bentonville to see the grandgirl and say "hi" to her parents! I realized as we traveled the 62/412 corridor, that I had forgotten my camera. I never go anywhere without it, especially not to see Reesa. So she wouldn't forget to associate Grammy with a bright flash, Eddy and Sach picked me up a disposable camera at Dollar General. I have posted a couple of pics just so any readers will be able to make the connection!
We kept Reesa while Sach and Codi had a night out without a carseat.

Okay, one comment about Massachusetts-the Eddy Oliver family would stand as staunch Democrats. I may not be forgiven by my mom for this comment, but here it goes. I watched both candidates on tv and the computer. I remarked to Eddy that I thought that the Republican man would win. I feel that the pollsters and pundits don't take into account the psyche of the voter as much as they should. Massachusetts' voters have forever been surrounded by charismatic males in the electorate. I said immediately that a woman was the wrong choice to replace a Kennedy. She came across to me as your 6th grade teacher. He came across as a guy that you would love to go to the pub with and have a rousing good time. Who, if you are dissatisfied with politics in general, are you going to put an x next to on your ballot. A large percentage of people say one thing and do another in the privacy of the voting booth.
There are also plenty of studies to show that when people are frightened or stressed about their lives and futures, they are more likely to vote for a male. Someone they unconsciously feel will take care of them. Of course, there is no doubt that Americans are disenchanted right now with Washington and, unfortunately, the democrats. So, there you go!
later,
Jeanie
