Reach For the Sky and Do it NOW

Why You Have Come Here

If you have arrived here seeking sanctity or blessing, then you will have to provide your own cloak and dagger. I only confess to the daily struggle to treat the world with the respect it has earned in my estimation. We all look to the sky and wonder. I feel the whisper of the ages calling and know not what flutter or ripple calls true. My approach is to touch your life in only the manner in which you prefer. As we all must suffer at some time, then I feel we all deserve, also, the right to laugh. My smile is my weapon, and at times my words also I use to defend.

Deck the Halls With Boughs of Holly

I freely admit that I am addicted to Christmas. I love the whole idea that you can drag out so much color and texture and leave the house dripping with green. I have saved my money each year at Christmas and used it to purchase more decorations for next year. There is always some neat new idea to be presented. I do have a house large enough to still walk once I get everything up. This year I did not put up the lights and greenery on my 50 foot porches as the baby is due on Christmas day and I won't be here for awhile after Christmas to take those decorations down. All of the things inside can stay up until I get back.

The Christmas trees are beautiful. Did your sons teach you how do decorate?

My guess would be that this is from one of my sons! I taught you how to decorate-do you remember that first Christmas after our house burned and we had just moved in the new house. We had hardly anything to decorate with and used cedar that we cut and white lights everywhere?
