Reach For the Sky and Do it NOW

Why You Have Come Here

If you have arrived here seeking sanctity or blessing, then you will have to provide your own cloak and dagger. I only confess to the daily struggle to treat the world with the respect it has earned in my estimation. We all look to the sky and wonder. I feel the whisper of the ages calling and know not what flutter or ripple calls true. My approach is to touch your life in only the manner in which you prefer. As we all must suffer at some time, then I feel we all deserve, also, the right to laugh. My smile is my weapon, and at times my words also I use to defend.

Rain and Sunbursts

Rain has become an overblessing around here-I personally am tired of it. I have been experimenting with my camera and the clouds.

Cool pic, I think! Of course I am prejudiced....somewhat of a small patch of sun. I would like to learn how to catch the sun's rays as more as a blob.

Hi Bill,
thank you so much for the compliment. My camera provides hours of enjoyment for me. Are you Cousin Bill from Kansas?
All of the Hodges boys(Jeff and crew) went to school with me at Salem. Jeff has blogged about working for my father one summer, and you can see pics of him on Jeff's blog. So glad that you stopped by my blog.

Yep, I'm "Cousin Bill".
We (wife Cheryl & I) recently ventured into SE OK and on into AR, hoping to get some good fall foliage photos driving Hwy 7, 21, etc., and around the Buffalo River-however had the rainiest visit ever to my native AR.
Keep up your good photo work.

I love the beautiful sky picture, Jeanne. Somehow I missed the "history" part of your teaching career. Thats great. I don't know if you knew I have another blog Troutbirder II, where I do occasional history lessons, book reviews etc. It's listed on my profile. Please stop by, if you have a chance sometime, and comment. I do like to talk history! The nature blog gets all the attention. :)
