Why You Have Come Here
If you have arrived here seeking sanctity or blessing, then you will have to provide your own cloak and dagger. I only confess to the daily struggle to treat the world with the respect it has earned in my estimation. We all look to the sky and wonder. I feel the whisper of the ages calling and know not what flutter or ripple calls true. My approach is to touch your life in only the manner in which you prefer. As we all must suffer at some time, then I feel we all deserve, also, the right to laugh. My smile is my weapon, and at times my words also I use to defend.
Photo Challenge- Special People Shot- I had no humans in my space today so I have given you pictures of my companions in this solitary journey. Mom and Pop operation.... the mockingbirds work together with one bringing food and the other watching for danger. The nest is in the willow tree right next to the ball goal on the patio. They sound like hawks when they are calling the warning signals to each other. I knew that they went crazy whenever I was on the lounger, but it took me awhile to realize where they were going with the decapitated grasshoppers. One afternoon this week I had been laying there very still reading when I glanced up and one of the adults was in the willow tree. Walking around the edge of the retaining wall, there they were, waiting for delivery from Pizza Hut.
