O..kay, of course, now I have all these roses planted, don't know where...I'll make a list, at least of roses planted
Bishop S Castle
Christopher Marlowe
Crown Princess Margareta
Falstaff
Golden Celebration
Jubilee Celebration
Abraham Darby
Bella Roma
Fragrant Cloud B/R
Memorial Day
Tahitian Sunset
John F. Kennedy
Mister Lincoln
Melody Parfumee
Buxom Beauty
Love and Peace
Midas Touch
Copper Field Rose
Monet Field Rose
So the great puzzle is where are they, I need T to make a list and put it in the cookie jar filing cabinet as I am the planter and idea-er and she is the organization deluxe!
Oh and I have also this collection of everblooming geraniums from Breck's. Oh, and, T, if you could help me find that plane ticket from last July there could be big money in it for you. YOU know that I have it here somewhere.
And lest I forget, the wolves will lie down with the lambs or something along those lines. Rebel, in above picture, lay there and watched that damn rabbit. I only had my camera in my hand this morning as I walked unexpectedly upon the wascal. The choices were: throw camera, throw me, or throw dog. I threw me. NO rabbit death. I, on the other hand am feeling all those old wing chun moves flowing, but I swore a vow not to use my martial arts knowledge for aggression. Oops.

There used to be this guy who had a little shop on Main Street in Hardy, been awhile but he may remain. It looks like you have indeed created a monster.
Anyway, the old fella had a set of dies bearing each letter of the alphabet and 0 through 9. Back when JK used to have the requisite abilities for dog ownership, JK had the fella hammer out JK's full name, address and phone number on a strip of brass which was then affixed to a dog collar. The one time that this resulted in a phone call from some distance made the slight investment worth more than gold.
Anyway, if you have an acquaintance in Hardy it might be that you could ascertain whether the fellas' shop remains. Brass being very malleable might be just the thing to both bear witness to a particular roses' name.
Of some sad note, though the dog which bore the phone number has been many years gone, I continue to hold the memory of him. And within a few seconds time can reach into a box which contains the more durable manifestation of his memory.

H,
thanks for the idea of the markers, I'll check into it
I hope you can pull out pics from that dog from that box and not something more tangible!!
